About the Farm
Our 38-acre farm was founded in 2005 and was originally used for cutting hay and grazing livestock. It gradually transformed into a beautiful location to host private indoor and outdoor events for friends and family. The successful results of that transformation and demand from the local community to host events led the owners to open The Double J Farm.
The farm is situated in a tranquil setting surrounded by nothing but nature, trees, and mountains. Amazing photo opportunities abound including the private pond, gazebo, and old-fashioned tree swing.
About the Barn
Our barn reflects the beauty of days gone by with many modern amenities. The large, open floor plan allows for your entire event to take place under shelter. We have a full kitchen and restroom facilities, providing easy access for guests and catering staff. Our second level “hay loft” area serves as a perfect DJ booth and allows a view overlooking the event. With so much room under the roof of our spacious barn, the possibilities are endless!
About the Hosts
We are a group of lifelong friends who grew up together in Michigan. For years we have dreamed of moving to North Carolina and owning property with a barn that we could transform into a wedding venue. Needless to say, we dropped everything for the opportunity to become the new owners of The Double J Farm! We are excited to pick up where the previous owners left off and continue to share this beautiful farm with you and your loved ones on your special day!
