About the Farm
Our 38-acre farm was founded in 2005 and was originally used for cutting hay and grazing livestock. It gradually transformed into a beautiful location to host private indoor and outdoor events for friends and family. The successful results of that transformation, and demand from the local community to host events, led the original owners to open The Double J Farm.
The farm is situated in a tranquil setting surrounded by nothing but nature, trees, and mountains. Amazing photo opportunities abound including the private pond, gazebo, and old-fashioned tree swing.
About the Barn
Our barn beautifully blends the charm of the past with the convenience of modern amenities. Its spacious, open floor plan ensures your entire event can unfold under shelter, offering both comfort and flexibility. With a well-equipped serving kitchen for seamless catering service and multiple restrooms for guest convenience, every detail is designed for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
About the Hosts
We are a group of lifelong friends who grew up together in Michigan and have always considered ourselves family. For years, we dreamed of moving to North Carolina and finding the perfect property with a barn to transform into a wedding venue. When the opportunity arose to become the new owners of The Double J Farm, we knew we had to follow our hearts. We are beyond excited to carry on the legacy of this beautiful farm and continue sharing it with you and your loved ones on your special day!
